Check out Jonah Rosenblum's recap of the Evanston boys basketball win over Glenbrook South for High School Cube News:
After Glenbrook South fought back from a 10-point deficit with 2 minutes, 52 seconds remaining in the third quarter to take a lead into the final minute of the fourth, Evanston senior guard Dante Henley nailed a 3-pointer to tie the score at 47-all with 17 seconds remaining. Evanston (7-1, 2-0 CSL South) then outscored Glenbrook South (4-4, 0-1) 10-4 in overtime, boosted by four Titans turnovers. Wildkits freshman guard Nojel Eastern was not in the lineup but is expected back next week when Evanston will host Maine South.
Evanston scored just four points through the first seven and a half minutes of the fourth quarter. That's when senior guard Nibra White bounced through the hole, riding a strong pivot foot to an easy layup. Henley followed with his game-tying three a possession later.
