Bertrum Therrod Anderson, 19, of 320 Lee St., was arrested at 1105 Forst Ave. on May 8 and charged with disobedience to police. He is due in court May 20. Tytiana Hill, 21, of 3335 W. Warren, Chicago, was arrested May 6 at 2301 W. Howard St., and charged with forgery. She is due in court May 24. Sean M. Freund, 46, of 3135 Central St., was arrested at Emerson and McCormick Blvd, on May 9 and charged with driving while under the influence. He is due in court June 7. Hugo S. Perez, 24, of 1627 W. Glenlake, Chicago, was arrested at 820 Davis St., on May 8 and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court May 22. Andre S. Stinnette, 33, of 1618 Davis, was arrested at that address on May 7 and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is due in court June 13.

EVANSTON — Two men were arrested Friday after police discovered two large plastic bags filled with copper downspouts in their possession in Evanston. Officers saw the men acting suspiciously about 2 p.m. March 1 in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, Evanston police said. The men told police they were scrappers and two large plastic bags filled with cut-up copper downspouts were later discovered, Evanston police said. Woman, 80, robbed outside Evanston bank

EVANSTON — Police are seeking information about a robbery Tuesday in which an 80-year-old woman was forcibly stripped of her purse. Police say the incident occurred about 11:15 a.m. The victim, an Evanston resident, left the Charter One Bank at Main Street and Chicago Avenue, and was walking westbound near Custer Avenue, when approached by the offender who forcibly took her purse, Cmdr. EVANSTON — Police arrested a 53-year-old Evanston man Wednesday after executing a search warrant at 1929 Hartrey Ave., where they recovered a small amount of heroin. Vernon Davis was arrested at approximately 11:30 a.m., at his home, which police targeted for heroin. Police recovered a small amount of the drug along with packaging materials for drug sales and drug paraphernalia, said Cmdr. Jason Parrott, the department’s media relations officer.
