A Board Working Meeting will be held Dec. 3. Public session begins at 7 p.m. in the Board Room of the JEH Education Center, 1500 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston. Nutrition workshop
District 65 Family Center invites families of children from birth to age 3 to attend the Kid Nutrition Workshop on Nov. 29 from 5 to 6 p.m. at 1500 McDaniel Ave., Evanston. Child care will be available along with a delicious dinner. All participants must sign up to participate by calling the Family Center at (847) 424-2446.
Spanish nights
Spanish Reading Night organized by District 65’s Bilingual Parent Liaison, Manuel Aleman, will be held on the following dates and locations:
• Dawes Elementary School library from 6 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 29.
• Evanston Public Library on Nov. 30 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Haven School
Haven Middle School sixth grade parents are invited to an interactive “Parent Presentation” by school psychologist Allina Nikolopoulou and Principal Kathleen Roberson. This informational session will be held in the school’s Library Media Center at 2417 Prairie Ave., Evanston on Dec. 1 at 9:30 a.m. For more information, contact Ms. Nikolopoulou at the school (847) 859-8400).~.
