The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court, Skokie, unless indicated otherwise.

BATTERY

A victim was hit in the mouth early Monday in an incident in an alley on the 1600 block of Cleveland Street.

Claudette N. Hampton, 21, of 746 N. Annie Glidden Road, Dekalb, Ill., was arrested at 4:40 a.m. Sunday at 100 Asbury Ave. and charged with battery. She is due in court Oct. 9.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Lawrence J. Dudley, 27, of 2301 Foster St., Evanston, was arrested at 9:31 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court Aug. 22.

Armeer Taylor, 41, of 142 Asbury Ave., Evanston, was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court Aug. 22.

BURGLARY

A purse, along with its contents, and a cell phone were stolen around 2:30 p.m. Saturday from an unlocked single-family home on the 700 block of Roslyn Place.

THEFT

A Coach wallet, along with its contents, was removed from the victim’s purse between 11 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday on the 900 block of Maple Avenue.

Catalytic converters were stolen Sunday and Monday in two incidents reported to police. In the first incident, the converter was stolen from a 2000 Toyota in an apartment parking lot Sunday on the 200 block of Ridge Avenue. On Monday, prior to 2:30 p.m., another Toyota had its converter stolen on the 1600 block of Cleveland Street.

RETAIL THEFT

Jimmie L. Williams, 54, of 1548 Chicago Ave., Evanston, was arrested at 9:33 a.m. Sunday at 1128 Hinman Ave. and charged with retail theft. He is due in court Sept. 18.

VEHICULAR HIJACKING

A victim was to ordered to exit his or her vehicle around 9:37 p.m. Sunday at Church Street and Dodge Avenue.

DRUGS

Lemorne B. Cole, 23, of 1812 Ashland Ave., Evanston, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Friday at 1425 Emerson St. and charged with delivery of marijuana. He is due in court Sept. 5.

SEXUAL ABUSE

Rubin A. Saldana Jr., 36, of 4953 Oakton St., was arrested at 9:05 a.m. Saturday at Evanston Police Department headquarters, 1454 Elmwood Ave., and charged with criminal sexual abuse. He is due in court Sept. 27.

PROTECTION ORDER

Antonio R. Hooper, 44, of 1932 Emerson St., Evanston, was arrested at 3:14 a.m. Friday and charged with violating a protection order. He is due in court Aug. 15.

Patricia A. Witt, 72, of 2537 Prairie Ave., Evanston, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Saturday near Lincoln Street and Prairie Avenue and charged with violating a protection order. Witt is due in court Aug. 22.
