Nominations sought for NSSC’s Super Senior awards

On the 39th Annual Super Senior Day, May 24, North Shore Senior Center will honor the community’s outstanding seniors for their volunteer efforts. Civic organizations, churches, synagogues, senior groups and hospitals are invited to participate in this year’s celebration. Each group may nominate one volunteer, 60 years or older, who has not been previously honored as a Super Senior. The celebration will take place at North Shore Senior Center’s Arthur C. Nielsen, Jr. Campus, 161 Northfield Road, Northfield.
Each Super Senior will receive a commemorative pin and a personalized certificate during the official recognition ceremony. A catered luncheon and live entertainment add to the excitement of the Super Senior Day festivities. Each honoree may invite a representative of the nominating organization, as well as a friend or family member to accompany them to Super Senior Day.
