Evanston man arrested for causing ruckus

WAUKEGAN — An Evanston man trying to file court papers in the Lake County Circuit Clerk’s Office caused a disturbance Wednesday and was arrested.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office’s security division received a panic alarm from the clerk’s office at approximately 2:15 p.m. at 18 N. County St. Deputies arrested Lee Fainman, 37, of the 1300 block of Oak in Evanston, for obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct.
Fainman was causing a disturbance at the clerk’s counter while attempting to file paperwork for a case.
Deputies responded and attempted to identify Fainman, who refused to provide proof of his identification.
His bond was set at $5,000 and he was released after posting 10 percent.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7.
