Music composer buys 106-year-old Evanston home

EVANSTON — Hans Christian Thornalla purchased a home Aug. 24 at 418 Greenleaf St. in Evanston from the Kathryn C. Heckin Trust. The 106-year-old, four-bedroom, two-bath, 1,512-square-foot home sold for $441,000.
Hans Christian Thornalla is an assistant professor of music composition at Northwestern University. He attended the Frankfurt Musikhochschule and Stanford University.
