ABC-7 news president buys $1.6 million Evanston home

EVANSTON — John Idler and Martha Idler purchased a home Aug. 21 at 2681 Sheridan Road in Evanston from Kathleen M. Bird. The 118-year-old, six-bedroom, 4.5-bath, 5,254-square-foot home sold for $1.638 million.
John Idler is the president and general manager at ABC-7 News. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
