Evanston police blotter for Feb. 14, 2012

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court, Skokie, unless indicated otherwise.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

A man slashed three tires on a 2001 Chrysler around 8:18 p.m. Sunday as the vehicle was parked by the curb on the 700 block of Brummel Street.

BATTERY

Sharion Henry, 41, of 5650 N. Kimball Ave., Chicago, was arrested 4:27 p.m. Saturday at 1329 Oakton St. and charged with battery. Henry is due in court Feb. 24.

THEFT

Some Gary Fischer bicycle tires and parts were stolen from an apartment storage locker sometime between 9:17 p.m. Jan. 10 and 9 p.m. Monday in a building on the 900 block of Washington Street.

A black iPhone in a black case was stolen from a locker room locker around 8 p.m. Monday at the McGaw YMCA, 1000 Grove St.

Christopher Pineda, 18, of 2106 N. Nagle Ave., Chicago, and Dwayne V. Scott, 18, of 1722 Monroe St., Evanston, were arrested at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at 2438 Main St. and charged with theft of lost property. Pineda is due in court March 9. No court information was listed for Scott in the Evanston Police Department’s Daily Bulletin for Tuesday.

ALCOHOL

Donald Hall, 19, of 7301 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 9 a.m. Monday at 7500 N. Clark St. in Chicago and charged with underage consumption of alcohol. He is due in court March 1.

OBSTRUCTED IDENTIFICATION

A 15-year-old Evanston juvenile was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Saturday on the 1300 block of Oakton Street and charged with having obstructed identification. No court information for the juvenile was listed in the bulletin.
