Evanston police blotter for Jan. 31, 2012

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court, Skokie, unless indicated otherwise.

BURGLARY

Someone used some kind of a tool to break open a garage and steal an air compressor, an electronic air pump and 2004 Ford wheels with name plates from a residential garage on the 1900 block of Brown Avenue. The burglary occurred sometime between Jan. 20 and Monday before 11:15 a.m.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Zhordan C. Douglas, 23 of 3904 Littlestone Circle, Naperville, was arrested at 7:56 p.m. Sunday on the 700 block of Mulford Street and charged with domestic battery. Douglas is due in court Feb. 8

OBSTRUCTED IDENTIFICATION

Carol White, 47, of 937 Bellwood Ave., Bellwood, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. Sunday at 415 Howard Street and charged with having obstructed identification. She is due in court Feb. 7.
