“Legally Blonde” benefits The Season of Concern

The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, kicked off its 2012 season Jan. 27 with the seven-time Tony Award nominated musical “Legally Blonde” which runs through April 1. “Legally Blonde” stars Chelsea Packard as “Elle”, Cole Burden as “Warner” and David Larsen as “Emmett”. The production is directed and choreographed by multi-Jeff award winner Marc Robin. Lead artistic director is Andy Hite of Buffalo Grove.
Five hundred people attended the opening night performance which benefited The Season of Concern, the Chicagoland theatre community’s fundraising effort, providing compassionate care to those in our community who are experiencing the effects of catastrophic illness.
Other performers include Gene Weygandt of Park Ridge as “Professor Callahan” and ensemble member Laura Savage of Deerfield.
The performance schedule is Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Ticket prices range from $40 to $48, plus tax and handling fees, with discunts for seniors and students on certain days.
