Sullivan’s Summer Solstice celebration raises $30,000 for Auditorium Theatre

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago held its second annual Sullivan’s Summer Solstice celebration on June 19 as a kick off to its quasquicentennial (125th) anniversary. Fittingly, 125 guests enjoyed interactive summer cocktails, a vibrant wine auction and gourmet victuals set out for them right atop the Auditorium’s main stage.

The year-long celebration will help raise critical funds for the theater’s general operating expenses and educational endeavors. The Chicago landmark opened its doors on December 9, 1889, and is still the home for exceptional entertainment. The event raised $30,000.
