Chicago Dramatists raise $23,000 at Blue Moon Gala

On June 6, nearly 100 avid supporters came to celebrate the pivotal role Chicago Dramatists has played since 1979 in adding new voices to the American stage.

The annual Blue Moon Gala was held inside the Zolla-Lieberman Gallery in Chicago where Brett Neveu of Evanston received the Marquee Award for a stellar career; Patrice Fletcher of Chicago was awarded the Ambassador Award for her commitment to new plays; and Rob Koon of Chicago received the Baer Hall Award for his dedication to the community.

For 35 years, Chicago Dramatists mission has been to develop new plays and nurture playwrights for the benefit of enriching the American theater repertory. The event raised more than $23,000 for Chicago Dramatists.
