EVANSTON, IL - 3rd Ward Alderman Melissa Wynne and the City of Evanston’s Public Works Department will host a community meeting to discuss planned improvements at Baker Park on Thursday, July 10, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the Lincoln Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room, 910 Forest Ave.

Baker Park, located at Keeney St. and Forest Ave., is scheduled to be renovated by the City in 2015.

The meeting will kick off a series of public discussions to gather design ideas and feedback from residents. Based on the discussions, the City will create potential design concepts for the park and present them to the community at a meeting to be held later this summer. Future meeting dates and locations will be announced.
