EVANSTON — Three people were injured, one seriously, after a westbound PACE van crashed into an eastbound front loader on the 1100 block of Foster Street about 6:30 a.m. Monday, Evanston fire officials reported.
The front loader collided with the van, which was carrying two passengers and the driver, Division Chief Dwight Hohl said.
He said the driver was the most seriously injured, with impact occurring on that side of the vehicle. The driver required Advanced Life Support, Hohl said. The two passengers were able to walk after the accident. All three were taken to Evanston Hospital.
Police are investigating.
